'LIVING BY THE BRUSH'

This is the name of the recent series of talks on the cruise ship lectures. A fascinating insight to the lives and struggles of famous artists. Monet, 'The Father or Flowers'. How he created his own paradise featuring colourful water lilies by a beautiful lake and garden in Giverney France. Monet's struggles in his earlier life with financial problems, depression and the death of his wife Camille.

My own life started in Estonia and we arrived in  Australia by ship in 1950s. After graduating from Edith Cowan and John Curtin Universities I have won scholarships, finalist in major portrait prize, exhibited in New York, Hong Kong, Singapore, UK and Australia and now imparting my knowledge to passengers on cruise ships.
